Huntington Bank Stadium Highlights:
  • Pioneering Construction:
    • Completed in 2009, Huntington Bank Stadium marked the Big Ten's first new football stadium since 1960 and the NCAA FBS's first since 2006. Home to University of Minnesota Gopher football team.
    • This venue becomes a key location for various football activities, including PJ Fleck Football Camp run in conjunction with Minnesota Football Camps.
  • State-of-the-Art Facilities:
    • The Gophers' locker room, designed in a football shape, spans 60 x 25 yards and features 120 custom lockers and 10 LCD televisions.
    • A dedicated recruiting room accommodates up to 150 people, crucial for attracting future athletes to the program, including young athletes who attend PJ Fleck Football Camp.
  • Advanced Technology:
    • The stadium's main high-definition video display, measuring approximately 48 x 108 feet, utilizes Daktronics HD-16 technology, a first for the Big Ten.
  • Environmental Sustainability:
    • Huntington Bank Stadium achieved LEED certification, becoming the first LEED-certified college football stadium in the United States.
  • Diverse Event Hosting:
    • Beyond University of Minnesota Gophers football, the stadium has hosted:
      • Gophers hockey games
      • NFL's Monday Night Football
      • NHL Stadium Series
      • International soccer matches
      • Major concerts
    • Huntington Bank Stadium also hosts various athletic development opportunities, including summer football camps / PJ Fleck Camps, providing young athletes with opportunities to improve their skills.
